Travel inspired Fair Trade collection
Paper High was born out of founders – Mark and Claire’s – love of travelling.
In 1998 Mark and Claire set off on a year long round-the-world trip (which ended up lasting for 3 years!) leading to a life changing experience. An unexpected change in destination, an extended stay in Kathmandu and a chance meeting with a paper maker making beautiful products sowed the seed of an exciting business idea.
Returning from their trip with two boxes of handmade journals and photo albums ‐ Paper High was born. Searching out Fair Trade, sustainably produced paper and gifting items is Paper High’s expertise.
Their collection is made in India, Sri Lanka and Nepal and all products are handmade using locally sourced sustainable and recycled materials wherever possible.
All Paper High products adhere to Fair Trade principles, set out by the World Fair Trade Organisation (WFTO) They only partner with small, family run businesses, community groups, charities and certified Fair Trade organisations.
Getting to know their Fair Trade suppliers over the years means that Paper High have built strong, trusting and mutually beneficial relationships.
